Andiamo Casa (LiGongDi)

Andiamo Casa's menu goes well beyond the usual pizza-and-pasta formula. Pizzas are freshly baked in a traditional stone pizza oven, with classics such as Margherita among the popular choices, while pasta, lasagna, seafood and lamb add plenty more choice.

Steak is another major part of the offering, with a particularly strong selection of premium Australian beef. The combination means Andiamo works just as well for stone-baked pizza and Italian wine as it does for a more substantial steak dinner.

Wine is a big part of the Andiamo Casa experience, with an extensive selection of Italian wines ranging from approachable, reasonably priced bottles to premium and fine wines for special occasions.

One of Andiamo Casa's defining features is its leafy outdoor garden and terrace at Ligongdi. Tucked among the greenery, the outdoor tables provide an attractive setting for lunch, dinner or drinks.

After dark, lighting transforms the garden into an atmospheric evening space. It's not simply extra seating either — Andiamo regularly makes use of the garden for special events and social evenings.

The entire third floor of Andiamo Casa is dedicated to events, giving the restaurant substantial space for private celebrations, corporate functions, presentations, parties and larger gatherings.

Events have become part of Andiamo Casa's personality. Past events have included outdoor DJ nights in the garden, bringing a different atmosphere to the restaurant after dark.

Andiamo Casa has also been chosen for international business gatherings, including a Suzhou networking dinner organised by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.

Eric is the owner behind Andiamo Casa and a familiar face around the restaurant. Young, personable and hands-on, he has shaped Andiamo around Italian food and wine, attentive hospitality and the idea that a restaurant can be used for much more than simply having dinner.
His approach can also be seen in Andiamo's regular events and the expansion of the concept to a second Suzhou location.

Andiamo Casa also has a second location in Suzhou Old Town. At Huanyu Hui on Zhuhui Road, in a modern commercial development beside the Kimpton Hotel.

Its location puts Andiamo close to the heart of Suzhou's historic centre while offering a very different setting from the Ligongdi restaurant.
